The website www.market-cy.com is the online store of Mash Trading & Distribution Ltd, VAT No. 60300156R, Tax Authority Tax Department – Paphos District Office, Company Registration No. HE486312, with registered address at Faneromenis 9, Mesogi 8280, Paphos, Cyprus (hereinafter referred to as “the company”).

Before entering the online store and browsing our website, please carefully read the following terms and conditions, which specifically govern the use of the company’s online store at www.market-cy.com.

The warranty for all products sold on www.market-cy.com is valid for one (1) year, unless otherwise stated on the product page and/or accompanying documents.

Our products are imported. Packaging labels, user manuals, safety warnings and related information may be provided in English and/or other languages. Some products may also include Greek, where supplied by the manufacturer and/or distributor. The company makes reasonable efforts to provide as complete information as possible for the safe use of products.

Prices displayed on the website are retail prices and include VAT, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

The minimum order value is €20 (including VAT). Orders below this minimum amount cannot be completed through the system.

Deliveries are made exclusively within Cyprus. Delivery/service costs depend on the selected pickup point and are displayed to the customer before checkout completion.

At checkout, the customer is informed of the final total amount of the order, including any pickup-point delivery charges. After the final amount is displayed, the company does not impose and does not request any additional or “hidden” charges for the same order. The amount paid at checkout is the final amount.

Drop Shipping services are not provided by the company.

The company does not ship orders using fixed-size parcels. Packaging is prepared according to the contents and volume of each order, in a manner that ensures, as far as possible, the safe transport of products.

Intellectual Property of Provided Information and Media

Based on the proprietary and moral rights of our company, as defined in Articles 3 and 4 of Law 2121/1993, any reproduction, copying, republication or exploitation of the website content without prior written permission is prohibited.

Indicatively and not exhaustively, prohibited actions include storage, email transmission, server upload, deep or inline linking, printing, distribution, translation, modification or public presentation of the content.

All of the above constitute exclusive rights of the company. The trademark Mash Trading & Distribution Ltd and all website content are intellectual and/or industrial property.

The law provides the following measures for the protection of intellectual property:

a. Criminal Sanctions
Imprisonment of at least one (1) year and a monetary fine of €2,900–€15,000 pursuant to Article 66 of Law 2121/1993.

b. Civil Remedies
The company may demand recognition of its rights, cessation of infringement and prevention of future infringement.

Some products may be displayed with indicative images and specifications may change without prior notice.

The company bears no responsibility for errors caused by third-party information.

Retail Prices & VAT

All prices displayed are retail prices and include VAT unless expressly stated otherwise.

Language of Labels and Instructions

Product labels and instructions may be provided in English or other languages. Greek language instructions may be included where supplied by the manufacturer.

Limitation of Liability

Delivery Time

Delivery times are calculated dynamically and depend on product availability, the selected Pickup Point, the transportation partner or network (indicatively ACS/BOX NOW), as well as the exact time and date of order submission. Before completing the purchase, the customer is informed at checkout of the estimated delivery date or time window (and in the confirmation email), based on the information available at the time of submission.

Order processing may involve consolidated ordering, shipping and logistics cycles (e.g. supplier orders placed on specific days and inbound or domestic distribution within Cyprus on specific days). For this reason, delivery estimates may vary depending on the time of order submission and the next available shipping cycle.

The company makes reasonable efforts to meet estimated delivery times. However, such estimates do not constitute guaranteed delivery dates and may change due to factors beyond the company’s control, including delays by transport partners, logistics or import delays, extreme weather conditions, strikes, periods of increased demand (indicatively holidays), or other force majeure events.

Security

The company takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data and electronic transactions, in line with best practices and applicable legal requirements. Access to and transmission of data through the website is carried out using secure protocols (SSL/TLS), while additional protective measures may be used (indicatively, network security services and malicious-traffic protection), such as the Cloudflare infrastructure.

Customer Login Credentials

To access your account, two credentials are used: your email and your password. You are solely responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for any actions performed through your account.

We recommend using a strong password and changing it regularly, and avoiding sharing it with third parties. The company will never ask you for your password via email or by phone.

In case of loss, suspected compromise, or unauthorised use of your account, you must notify us promptly so that appropriate measures can be taken. The company is not liable for any damage arising from unauthorised use where this results from the user’s fault (indicatively, sharing credentials or using an insecure device).

Confidentiality & Disclosure

The company does not disclose customer data or transaction information to third parties, unless there is a legal obligation or an order/decision by a competent authority or court, or where such disclosure is necessary for order fulfilment and the provision of our services (indicatively, payment providers, delivery services and pickup points), in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Data Security

The company applies security measures to protect data from loss, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. Due to the nature of the internet, absolute security cannot be guaranteed. The company reviews and improves its measures where appropriate.

Κατά τη δημιουργία λογαριασμού και/ή την καταχώρηση παραγγελίας, ενδέχεται να συλλέγουμε στοιχεία όπως: ονοματεπώνυμο, email, τηλέφωνο, στοιχεία τιμολόγησης όπου απαιτείται, διεύθυνση παράδοσης ή/και επιλογή σημείου παραλαβής (Pickup Point), καθώς και πληροφορίες που είναι απαραίτητες για την εκτέλεση της παραγγελίας και την εξυπηρέτησή σας.

Λογαριασμός & Καλάθι Αγορών (session/cookies)

Η πραγματοποίηση παραγγελίας προϋποθέτει λογαριασμό χρήστη (δεν υποστηρίζεται “guest checkout”). Για λόγους λειτουργικότητας (ενδεικτικά, διατήρηση καλαθιού/συνεδρίας), το ηλεκτρονικό κατάστημα μπορεί να χρησιμοποιεί τεχνικά αναγνωριστικά συνεδρίας (session) και/ή cookies.

Σκοποί επεξεργασίας & νομικές βάσεις

Η επεξεργασία πραγματοποιείται, κατά περίπτωση: (α) για την εκτέλεση της παραγγελίας και την παροχή των υπηρεσιών μας (εκτέλεση σύμβασης), (β) για συμμόρφωση με νομικές υποχρεώσεις (π.χ. φορολογικές/λογιστικές), (γ) για έννομα συμφέροντα της εταιρείας (ασφάλεια συστημάτων, πρόληψη απάτης, υποστήριξη πελατών), και (δ) για marketing/newsletter μόνο όταν υπάρχει συγκατάθεση.

Αποδέκτες δεδομένων (συνεργάτες)

Η εταιρεία δεν πωλεί τα προσωπικά σας δεδομένα. Ενδέχεται να κοινοποιούμε δεδομένα μόνο στον βαθμό που είναι αναγκαίο για τη λειτουργία του καταστήματος και την εκτέλεση της παραγγελίας, σε συνεργάτες/παρόχους υπηρεσιών (εκτελούντες την επεξεργασία), όπως: (α) πάροχος πληρωμών JCC για την ολοκλήρωση ηλεκτρονικών πληρωμών, (β) πάροχοι υποδομών/ασφάλειας (ενδεικτικά, Cloudflare), (γ) συνεργάτες μεταφοράς/παράδοσης και σημεία παραλαβής όπως ACS και BOX NOW, όπου αυτό απαιτείται για την εκτέλεση της παραγγελίας.

Γνωστοποίηση σε Αρχές

Τα δεδομένα ενδέχεται να γνωστοποιηθούν σε αρμόδιες δικαστικές, αστυνομικές ή άλλες διοικητικές αρχές μόνο εφόσον υπάρχει νόμιμη υποχρέωση/αίτημα και σύμφωνα με τις ισχύουσες διατάξεις.

Χρόνος τήρησης

Τηρούμε δεδομένα για όσο απαιτείται για τους σκοπούς για τους οποίους συλλέχθηκαν και/ή για όσο επιβάλλεται από νομικές υποχρεώσεις, καθώς και για την υποστήριξη ή άσκηση νομικών αξιώσεων, όπου αυτό είναι αναγκαίο.

Δικαιώματά σας

Έχετε, κατά περίπτωση, δικαιώματα πρόσβασης, διόρθωσης, διαγραφής, περιορισμού επεξεργασίας, φορητότητας, εναντίωσης, καθώς και ανάκλησης συγκατάθεσης όπου η επεξεξεργασία βασίζεται σε συγκατάθεση.

Ανήλικοι

Η εγγραφή και η πραγματοποίηση αγορών μέσω του ιστότοπου επιτρέπεται μόνο σε άτομα που έχουν συμπληρώσει το 18ο έτος της ηλικίας τους.

Καταγγελία στην Εποπτική Αρχή

Product Purchase

In the online store www.market-cy.com you can browse and purchase our products both as a consumer and as a professional.

Prices displayed on www.market-cy.com are retail and include Cyprus VAT (19%), unless explicitly stated otherwise.

If the customer is a professional and wishes to receive an invoice with business details (e.g. VAT/tax information), they must send a request and their details by email to [email protected], so the necessary registration/verification can be completed.

www.market-cy.com operates exclusively as an online store and no physical presence is required to complete a purchase.

For support or clarifications, you may contact us by phone or email. Phone support is not available every Sunday.

Order Cancellation

An order may be cancelled only if it has not been shipped and has not entered the fulfilment/delivery process. To request a cancellation, you may contact us by email at [email protected] or by phone at +357 96596003.

If the order has already been shipped or scheduled for delivery, cancellation may not be possible. In such a case, the return/withdrawal terms described in this policy apply.

If payment has been completed and the cancellation is approved, the refund is issued using the same payment method used for the purchase where technically possible, and/or by another equivalent method, in accordance with applicable legal requirements and the rules of the payment provider.

Payment Methods

Payment is completed electronically at checkout using a credit/debit card via the secure payment system JCC.

For approved wholesale (B2B) customers, subject to approval by the company’s management team, payment by bank transfer may be available under credit/consolidated settlement terms agreed on a case-by-case basis. For requests, please contact [email protected].

Order / Delivery / Charges / Warranty / Withdrawal / Returns

Order Confirmation

Upon completing the order, a confirmation message is displayed and an email is sent with the order details (e.g. order number, pickup method, estimated delivery time).

Prices & Final Amount (incl. VAT)

Prices displayed on www.market-cy.com are retail and include Cyprus VAT (19%), unless explicitly stated otherwise.

The final payable amount (including any Pickup Point delivery/collection fee) is calculated and shown clearly at checkout before the order is submitted. By confirming the order, the customer accepts the total amount shown at checkout.

After checkout, no additional charges are added to the same order (e.g. extra shipping, handling, or other fees). The amount displayed and paid at checkout is the final amount.

Service Area & Pickup Method

Shipments are made exclusively within Cyprus. Collection is made from the Pickup Point selected by the customer during the order, via partner networks/companies (indicatively ACS and BOX NOW), depending on the options shown at checkout.

The customer receives collection updates/instructions from us and/or from the transport partner/Pickup Point network (e.g. ACS/BOX NOW), according to each service’s process.

Estimated Delivery Time

The estimate for when the customer will collect the order is shown at checkout when the order is placed and may vary depending on the submission time/day and product availability.

The estimated time is an estimate and not a guaranteed delivery date. Delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, such as holidays/peak periods (e.g. Christmas, New Year, Easter, Valentine’s Day), strikes, carrier delays, port/transport delays, extreme weather, or force majeure events.

Order Status Updates

Updates about the order progress are provided via email and/or through the customer account on www.market-cy.com (e.g. placed, processing, shipped, available for collection, completed).

Inspection Upon Collection

The customer must inspect the products upon collection. Any visible damage, missing items, or incorrect products should be reported as soon as possible by phone or email at [email protected].

Returns (within 30 days)

Returns are accepted within 30 days, provided the customer has proof of payment/order and the products are returned in a condition that allows inspection/acceptance.

A necessary condition for accepting a return is that, where applicable, the full packaging, accessories, and the barcodes/stickers/identification labels delivered with the product are also returned.

Return Process & Shipping Instructions

To start a return, the customer contacts us by email or phone. The company provides instructions on whether the return should be shipped by the customer or whether collection will be arranged, and information on any return costs, depending on the case (e.g. incorrect shipment by us, defect, change of mind).

Credit / Refund

If the return is accepted after inspection, the customer may choose one of the following credit methods:

  • refund to the card used for the purchase (where possible), or
  • credit to the account wallet as a voucher for future purchases.

The inspection/acceptance decision is usually completed within 1–5 business days from the receipt of the product at the warehouse/inspection point.

Warranty

The warranty for products is valid for one (1) year, unless otherwise stated on the product page and/or accompanying documents. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, drops, liquids, extreme temperatures, improper installation, or use outside specifications.

Cases Not Covered / Warranty Void

The warranty may not apply if:

  • barcodes/stickers/identification labels of the company and/or the manufacturer are removed or altered.
  • there is intervention/repair by an unauthorized technician or unauthorized personnel.
  • the damage is due to misuse, drop, extreme temperatures, or exposure to liquids.
  • serial numbers/manufacturer markings are missing or altered, where applicable.
  • the product was installed or used contrary to the instructions/specifications.

Right of Withdrawal

Where the right of withdrawal applies, the customer may exercise it within 14 calendar days from collection by sending a request to [email protected] and stating the order number.

Wholesale Support (B2B)

The company offers wholesale cooperation exclusively to approved professionals. Approval is granted after evaluation and verification of company details.

How to submit a request

To request wholesale cooperation, please send an email to [email protected] including: company name, VAT/Tax number, contact details, and a brief description of the products/quantities you are interested in.

Pricing & Payments

Retail prices displayed on the website do not necessarily represent wholesale prices. For approved B2B customers, special pricing and payment terms may be offered (e.g. bank transfer, consolidated payment within an agreed period), according to the terms agreed in writing.

Support

Wholesale support is provided primarily via email, in order to maintain a complete record of communication and documentation.

Changes to the Terms and Conditions

The company reserves the right to amend or update these terms and conditions whenever required (for example due to changes in legislation, services, or the operation of the online store). Any changes are published on this page with an updated “Last updated” notice.

Amendments take effect from the date they are published. For orders that have already been completed, the terms in force at the time of completion of the order shall apply.
